Each year, the Association awards up to 30 Fellowships of $10,000 to students for one year of graduate study in any discipline of engineering. Approximately 250 Scholarships of $2,000 are awarded to members for their senior year of study in engineering.
Annually, Tau Beta Pi recognizes Distinguished Alumni, McDonald Mentor, Outstanding Advisor, and Laureates for contributions to the Association and the engineering community.
Tau Beta Pi's award-winning Engineering Futures Program trains alumni to present interactive seminars on teamwork, problem-solving, ethics, inclusion, management, and interpersonal and presentation skills to nearly 4,000 engineering students annually.
This quarterly publication is a powerful voice for the engineering profession and an advocate for recognizing significant engineering contributions. A 4-year subscription is included in the one-time membership fee.
Tau Beta Pi is the largest engineering honor society and includes all majors, with 251 collegiate chapters and 45+ alumni chapters across the country. Students are encouraged to attend one of the 16 District Conferences to interact with other engineering students and gain advice from alumni in different industries through panel presentations and discussions.
TBP hosts a Grad School & Corporate Recruiting Fair and puts resumes in front of major companies and top schools. Post a resume and browse thousands of jobs on the Association's job board. US Government applicants receive automatic entry-level advancement to GS-7.
More than 500 members gather annually to conduct the Association's business through committee work and practicing Robert's Rules of Order. Other activities include personal and professional development, chapter management instruction, & networking events. See images
