Alumni Giving
Contributing to Tau Beta Pi means investing in the future of young engineers and furthering the practice of integrity and excellence in engineering.
Because members pay no annual dues, Tau Beta Pi relies strongly upon varied sources of alumnus and corporate contributions to carry out its mission. Your gift of any size is important and appreciated and needed to help Tau Beta Pi continue to assist more students than any other engineering group.

Chapter Endowment Initiative
The Chapter Endowment Initiative program, launched in Spring 2014, allows alumni, companies, and foundations to permanently endow the Association's activities that support any of our 255 active student chapters.
Planned Giving
A planned gift can be made in lifetime or at death as part of a donor's overall financial estate planning and may include gifts such as life insurance, real estate, cash, equity, or property. Planned giving allows individuals to make larger gifts than they could make from ordinary income.

Donor Recognition Clubs
The Donor Recognition Clubs are part of our effort to recognize a donor's total lifetime cumulative giving to Tau Beta Pi. Such continuous support significantly contributes to the overall strength of the Association and allows our Society, with confidence in our financial resources, to plan for modest growth in our services to the engineering profession. The colors associated with each of the club levels are in recognition of the first 12 chapters installed chronologically and reflect their universities' colors.
Donors to the Alumni Giving Program will be recognized by their club level in the following issues of The Bent. View recent Alumni Giving donor listings from the magazine.

Corporate Gift Matching
Many companies have a matching gift program which matches employee gifts to organizations such as Tau Beta Pi dollar for dollar, or even more. Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. The Tau Beta Pi Association, Inc. is a non-profit educational organization and is classified under section 501(c)(3) not private of the United States Internal Revenue code and gifts to the Association are tax deductible. All matching gifts are allocated to our Scholarship and Fellowship Programs to provide cash awards for engineering undergraduate and graduate students. To arrange a matching gift...and multiply your support to Tau Beta Pi...simply follow these steps:
- Talk to your employer to determine if TBP is eligible.
- Obtain matching gift forms from your employer or submit online. Tau Beta Pi's E.I.N. # is 62-0479545.
- Make your gift by check or credit card to Tau Beta Pi.
- Return your gift with your company's matching gift form to TBP, if applicable.
- Many companies, such as Boeing, no longer accept paper forms.
- The GE Foundation requires employees to register their gift amount online.
