The office of the Alumni Representative was created by the 1925 Convention. The title was changed by the 1972 Convention to the Director of Alumni Affairs, but the office was eliminated in 1978 with the adoption of the District Program. In 2013, with a renewed interest in TBP alumni chapters, the volunteer position was brought back to support reactivating alumni chapters and organizing alumni. |

The position of Director of District Programs was established by the 1978 Convention after the District Program had been in experimental use for 3 years. The office was eliminated in 1991 when the Executive Council assumed oversight responsibility. The position has been re-established for a three-year trial period. The Director provides strategic and tactical leadership over the District Program. |
Director of Engineering Futures: , Ph.D., MI A '99 |

The Director of Engineering Futures was established by the 1993 Convention after the Engineering Futures Program had been in experimental use for five years, during which time M.S. Polston, TN A '79, served as Director. As part of the Futures Program, approximately 40 trained teaching Facilitators have been appointed throughout the 16 Tau Beta Pi Districts. |

The Director of Fellowships, a position established by the 1932 Convention, is charged with the administration of Tau Beta Pi's Fellowship and Scholarship Programs. Responsibility for administration of the Scholarship Program was added to this role in 1998 when the program was established. |

The position of Master of Rituals was created by the 1927 Convention, after a one-year trial period. The title of the post was changed by the 1972 Convention to Director of Rituals. The duties of the office include keeping watch over the form, phraseology, and physical make-up of the rituals, receiving and digesting suggestions for changes, and in general, handling all matters in connection with the rituals and related ceremonies. |

Jim Froula, P.E. (ret.), is the Executive Director Emeritus of The Tau Beta Pi Association. He was named Secretary-Treasurer and Editor in 1982, given the title of Executive Director in 1999, and served until 2011. Jim is only the third person to hold this position. |
Assistant Executive Director Emeritus: Roger E. Hawks, NY L '75 |

Roger Hawks, is the Assistant Executive Director Emeritus of The Tau Beta Pi Association. He joined the HQ staff of Tau Beta Pi in 1986 and served until 2016 as Assistant Secretary-Treasurer and from 2016-19 as Director of Chapter Programs. Roger passed away on February 28, 2022. |
