15.Studied the controversial issue of the eligibility of computer-science students and declared them eligible for another year. (p. 9 and 13-14)
16.Studied EC proposals on Tau Beta Pi image materials developed by the Executive Council and a marketing firm for the 1999 Convention and made recommendations, including continuing the new image survey annually. (p. 16)
17.Made recommendations regarding potential petitions from international institutions and referred future work to a task force for further study and to report to the 2002 Convention; and suggested an international liaison committee to deal with cultural issues. (p. 11 and 16)
18.Made recommendations to create an optional program for guests to be presented in parallel with the initiation. (p. 12)
19.Made recommendations to modify documentation in the petitioning process. (p. 13)
20.Decided that guidelines for electee duties were clear (B. VII, Sec. 7.02) and recommended that the issue of recourse by a candidate be assigned to a 2002 Convention ad hoc committee. (p. 16)
