Largest single corporate Convention contribution received.

     Duke Power kicked off the 2001 Convention corporate campaign with the largest donation in the history of the Convention. Their contribution of $5,000 will sponsor the Major Awards Banquet of this year's event which will be take place October 18 - 20, 2001 at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.  The banquet will be held on Saturday, October 20, and is considered to be the high point of the convention, which is now in its 96th year. 
     Jacobs Engineering, Fluor, and Procter & Gamble have also made extremely generous contributions at the Major Donor level ($1,500 - $5,000.)  Companies supporting the convention at this level are also invited to set up a recruiting booth at the convention site.  
     The campaign for corporate sponsorship of the 2001 convention began in November,2000, and will continue until August 30, 2001.  All corporate sponsors are recognized on our web site with a link to their corporate web site.  (2001 Convention Corporate Sponsors)
