The Council’s first action was the election of its and the Association’s officers for the 1998-2002 term: D.M. Green, President; E.J. D’Avignon, Vice President; and C.P. Rice, Secretary of the Council.
J.R. Luchini, MI G ’71, was appointed as an Engineering Futures Facilitator for a three-year term.
San Diego, CA, was selected as the location for the June 26, 1999, meeting of national officials.
