125th Anniversary Convention

The 2010 Convention in Valley Forge, PA, marked the quasquicentennial anniversary of Tau Beta Pi. The celebration was dedicated to honoring the past and shaping the future.

    Dr. Lyle D. Feisel, P.E., Iowa Alpha 1961, is dean emeritus of the Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at the State University of New York at Binghamtom and the 2002 TBP Distinguished Alumnus.
    He writes the popular column "Lyle's Laws", for THE BENT, is a member of the magazine's editorial board, and recently named Interim Executive Director of ASEE.

    Terry J. Hart, Pennsylvania Alpha 1968, is a former NASA astronaut and has logged 168 hours in space aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger.
    He is currently a professor at Lehigh University teaching courses on aircraft design and performance. His talk will focus on the history and future of space flight.

    Bill Landry spent more than 20 years as the host, narrator, and co-producer of "The Heartland Series" on WBIR-TV (NBC) in Knoxville.
    He will perform his one-man play, Einstein the Man. The play has been adapted for National Public Radio and Public Television, and is based on the life of Albert Einstein. Learn more about Bill from his website.

    Dr. Alton D. Romig Jr., Pennsylvania Alpha 1975, is executive vice president, deputy laboratories director, and chief operating officer at Sandia National Laboratories (NM).
    He directly supports operations with the U.S. Department of Defense, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and Homeland Security among others.
