- Dr. Robert E. Kahn, NY H '60, is one of five winners of the first Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering for major contributions to the development of the Internet.
- New Jersey Zeta at The New Jersey College was installed as the 247th Chapter of Tau Beta Pi.
